Book Discussion with Stefani Gabriela
On Friday, September 18, 2026, a book discussion was held at the Main Atrium of Galaxy Mall 3, Surabaya. The book featured was Setelah Aku Cut Off Warisan Trauma Keluarga (After I Cut Off the Legacy of Family Trauma) by Stefani Gabriela. This event is part of the Petranesian Business and Education Fair 2026. Open to the public, the event allowed participants from diverse backgrounds to join the conversation and gain insights into the book’s subject matter. This event was a collaborative effort between the Petra Christian University Library, Naraloka Patra, and Gradien Mediatama Publishers. The collaboration aimed to foster an interest in reading while providing a space for discussion. During the event, participants explored the book’s theme of “cutting off” a method of severing or limiting ties with the patterns and traumas inherited within a family. The discussion was intended to encourage participants to reflect on their own family experiences and relationship boundaries, as well as the importance of understanding intergenerational trauma with greater awareness and wisdom.
