“My Gateway to Knowledge” was organized to portray the library as a gateway to the world of knowledge that opens opportunities for students to learn, innovate, and excel. This event focused on introducing the library especially to new students as a first step in beginning their college journey by showcasing the various services, facilities, and information resources available at the library that they can utilize throughout their studies.
“My Gateway to Knowledge is Library@Petra” features an interactive and fun concept; this event invites participants to explore the library firsthand through various activities such as the Library Exhibition, Library Trivia Quiz, and Games, held from August 26 – September 10, 2026; and the Library Literacy Class, held throughout September, featuring topics such as an introduction to the library, e-resources classes, plagiarism and Turnitin training, Mendeley training, and Zotero training. Students are not only invited to get to know the library, but also to improve their skills in using tools that are useful for their studies, and there will be a welcome snack to liven up the series of activities.
