As a tribute to the 730th Anniversary of Surabaya City, Surabaya Memory 2023 presents the theme “Surabaya Memory Cares for MSMEs”. This theme aligns with the Surabaya City Government’s program to continuously boost the people’s economy by empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The event takes the form of a series of community service activities aimed at small-scale MSME actors in the Rungkut and Wonocolo sub-districts. It includes workshops and mentoring sessions for participating MSMEs. The workshop covers three main topics: Branding, Packaging, and Social Media Marketing.

At the end of the program, an awarding ceremony will be held at Balai Pemuda Surabaya to recognize outstanding MSMEs based on creativity in social media usage, promotional activity, best packaging, and other criteria.

Additionally, there will be a photo exhibition featuring documentation of the program, local heritage, and curated photographs from the Surabaya Memory collection.
