Pada tahun 2025, festival ini menjangkau 953.828 penonton di 20 negara dengan mengusung tema&nbsp;<em>Green Jobs<\/em>, yang menyoroti bagaimana profesi berkelanjutan berkontribusi terhadap perlindungan lingkungan, inovasi, serta kesejahteraan sosial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain pemutaran film, festival ini juga mendorong pembelajaran yang aplikatif melalui lokakarya, eksperimen, dan diskusi interaktif yang menyertai program. Berbagai kegiatan tersebut mengajak peserta untuk menghubungkan gagasan ilmiah dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, merefleksikan pilihan karier di masa depan, serta mengembangkan keterampilan nyata yang berkaitan dengan keberlanjutan dan aksi iklim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khususnya di wilayah dengan akses terbatas terhadap pendidikan sains yang berkualitas, Science Film Festival berperan penting dalam mendekatkan sains kepada generasi muda. Dengan menghadirkan solusi nyata serta memperkenalkan potensi karier hijau, festival ini menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu, memperkuat jejaring pendidikan, dan kembali membuktikan kekuatan film dalam menginspirasi dialog serta aksi kolektif menuju masa depan yang lebih berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pada penyelenggaraan tahun ini, Perpustakaan Universitas Kristen Petra menjadi venue partner dari Goethe-Institut Indonesia dalam menghadirkan Science Film Festival. Kegiatan ini mengundang siswa-siswi SMP dari sekolah mitra serta siswa-siswi SD dari sekolah sekitar kampus untuk bersama-sama mengikuti rangkaian pemutaran film dan aktivitas pembelajaran yang telah disiapkan.
