Seminar Libraries For All: Advancing Disability Services in the Digital and Physical Realms

PCU Library recently hosted the seminar “Libraries For All: Advancing Disability Services in the Digital and Physical Realms,” a significant event aimed at raising awareness and promoting inclusion within library services for individuals with disabilities. The seminar brought together library professionals, educators, and advocates to explore strategies for improving both digital and physical accessibility in libraries.
Throughout the seminar, experts in the field discussed how libraries can better serve individuals with disabilities by adapting their facilities and digital resources. Topics ranged from designing accessible physical spaces to implementing assistive technologies and developing inclusive digital content. Key discussions also highlighted the importance of training library staff to support diverse needs, ensuring that all visitors feel welcome and can fully participate in library activities.
This event marked a crucial step forward in our commitment to making libraries more accessible for everyone. We are proud to have contributed to this important conversation and look forward to seeing how the ideas discussed will continue to shape the future of library services.
