PDWLIS 2024: Maldives – Enhancing Library & Information Services through International Exposure

July 28 to August 3, 2024

Professional Development Workshop on Library & Information Services (PDWLIS) 2024 brings an exciting opportunity for library professionals from the Maldives to explore global advancements in library and information science. This program is designed to provide insights into how libraries are adapting and growing.

As part of their visit, the PDWLIS 2024 participants took part in a focused workshop session entitled “Librarian’s Role in Research Support Services.” This workshop provided an in-depth look at how modern libraries are pivotal in supporting academic research through specialized services, cutting-edge technology, and expert guidance. Our librarian, Mr. Chandra Pratama shared insights and discussed strategies for enhancing research support, sparking engaging discussions among attendees.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the PDWLIS 2024 participants for visiting Petra Christian University Library and contributing to this valuable exchange of knowledge and ideas. It has been a pleasure to share our achievements and learn from the global perspectives brought by our esteemed guests.
